WLSA Guest Lecture Series

The Guest Lecture Series seeks to extend cooperation and knowledge sharing between Associate schools and WLSA Fudan Academy in Shanghai. This program invites educators to present research, workshops, and other innovative ideas as means of contributing to the growth and expansion of academics and co-curricular programs in China.  

 

Lecturers interested in participating in the program should be prepared to provide three full days of material either in the form of a lecture series, a workshop, consulting on existing programs, and/or demo lessons.

 

Topics suitable for the guest lecture series include: school administration, organizational structure, developing on-campus programs, supporting students and faculty, innovative ways to present curriculum, etc.

Details of the Guest Lecture Series

This program is available throughout the school year (excluding summer holiday), with certain costs being covered by WLSA. Space is limited and not all applications will be selected.

What is covered:

  • Economy roundtrip airfare from your location to Shanghai 
  • Visa costs 
  • Airport pickup 
  • Six nights accommodation at a 4 star hotel in the city 
  • Daily stipend of $100USD for meals & activities 
  • Three free days for leisure & sightseeing at your own pace 
  • A suggested itinerary to make the most of your free time
