2019 CONFERENCE

Education for the Human Condition

Educating resilient students is a growing concern on campus and international educators need to be prepared to identify and address the challenges facing a diverse student body. This year’s conference theme, Education for the Human Condition will help educators determine the skills needed for today’s youth. It is an exploration into the issues surrounding wellbeing and building healthy campuses for the 21st century. This is a conference to discuss what’s needed to support students outside of their academic life on campus.

“The 2017 WLSA Conference was forward thinking and proposed tangible solutions to the education sector and its growth in the 21st Century and beyond. Not only did the conference bring elite collegiate admissions deans, professors/teachers, and business people from multiple countries of each continent together in order to sync and push global education forward but the conference also provided an intimate setting, allowing us to network on a more effective level.”

Miles Cury, Columbia University (USA)

“This conference brings together the principals and educational experts from famous middle schools and famous universities in China and abroad, and has conducted in-depth discussions on school management, risk management, student leadership and effective guidance of education in the context of educational globalization. The Conference was rich in content merging different points of view and wisdom. It was a fruitful and very successful event!”

Peidong Wang, Principal of the High School Affiliated to Xi'an Jiaotong University

"To attend a conference with such a mixed group of people with different interests on one level but one common goal on the other, international education is simply world-class thinking! All Presenters, Panelists and Moderators were awesome and shared practical ideas. As a first timer to the lovely city of Shanghai, WLSA picked the perfect location to host such a WORLD class event....simply a stellar conference!"
